WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• Analyzing head shape, density + existing haircut using circular sections

• Responding to the curves of the head to determine elevation

• Point cutting, blunt + razor

• Interior weight removal

• Isolating detail

• Product selection + control

MODEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Long hair but not excessively long (bra strap or slightly below)

• No bangs but MUST BE WILLING to CUT a FRINGE

• Medium density

• Slight wave preferred

• No excessive layering

• No extensions please

• Models should arrive with clean, dry hair (no product), photo-ready makeup and in solid black clothing, please.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Notebook + pens

• Shears + razor, cutting comb, 100% boar bristle flat brush (Mason Pearson recommended), 100% boar bristle round brush (medium), blow dryer with nozzle + diffuser, flat iron and 1" curling iron.
