Section down the centre back and bring each half forward
Start at the nape in long, thin slices and curl vertically with a 1.5 inch barrel
Work towards the front, rolling the iron away from the face
Finger brush hair to separate curls and use Spray de Mode throughout for a more tousled look

Tools: Hair elastic and bobby pins

Products: Prep hair with either Prep and Thickening hairspray or Tonic and Styling lotion. Finger dry hair with a blowdryer.
Technique:

Then dry spray with Does it all, surf spray or hair powder to give it some grit
Tilt head backwards combing hair with fingers (use a brush for a more sleek bun) into a high pony tail and secure with an elastic
Wrap pony tail around elastic secure the loose ends first with a bobby pin by grabbing some of the hair from the bun pushing down and then in
Secure the rest of the bun with the bobby pins using the same motion
Finish with Does it all, and rough up gently with fingers
